Of course, there are still some gamers who haven't been able to enjoy it, so the news that Fallout Shelter will be playable on PC is probably a welcome one. While the game was initially released for iOS devices, Fallout Shelter released for Android devices several months later. The biggest reveal for the title is that it will no longer be limited to mobile devices. Previously, the vault dwellers would randomly select a target at will, which could make it more difficult to take down a well-equipped target in a group of enemies. New enemies like the iconic Fallout ghouls are coming to the game, and players will be able to directly command their vault dwellers to attack specific targets. In addition, Fallout Shelter's combat system is getting some major updates. While vault dwellers could previously explore the wasteland for supplies and caps, this is the first time that the game will allow players to visually follow their vault dwellers and see locations beyond their own vault. Rather than being limited to the vault, players will be able to send their vault dwellers out into the world in groups to perform quests. Bethesda quickly made it clear that Fallout Shelter is also getting its fair share of improvements, and gamers can expect an expansive new update coming to the vault simulator soon.įallout Shelter will be receiving a massive update in July that will drastically change the way the game is played. Last year's E3 was a doozy for Bethesda, and as a result, a big portion of the reveals this year were follow ups to titles that were announced there last year, like Fallout 4 and Doom. Bethesda reveals that major updates are coming to the Fallout Shelter vault simulator, including quests, new characters, new enemies, and the ability to play it on PC.
